🙏 भाग 2: अनंत चतुर्दशी का धार्मिक महत्व | Part 2: Spiritual Significance

‘अनंत’ का अर्थ है – जिसका अंत न हो। यह भगवान विष्णु के अनंत स्वरूप की उपासना का पर्व है। मान्यता है कि इस दिन व्रत करने और अनंत सूत्र (लाल और पीले धागे का पवित्र धागा) धारण करने से जीवन में स्थिरता और समृद्धि आती है।
पौराणिक कथा के अनुसार, पांडवों के वनवास के दौरान द्रौपदी ने भगवान विष्णु की आराधना की। तब भगवान ने उन्हें अनंत सूत्र की महिमा बताई और कहा कि जो भी इसे श्रद्धा से धारण करेगा, उसके जीवन से दुख दूर होंगे और सुख की वृद्धि होगी। इस दिन पुरुष दाहिने हाथ में और महिलाएँ बाएँ हाथ में यह सूत्र बांधती हैं।
व्रत का विधान है कि इसे लगातार 14 वर्षों तक किया जाए। इस दौरान भगवान विष्णु का ध्यान, कथा श्रवण और दान-पुण्य का विशेष महत्व होता है।

The word “Anant” means endless or infinite, symbolizing Lord Vishnu’s eternal form. It is believed that observing a fast and tying the Anant Sutra (a sacred red-yellow thread) on this day brings prosperity, stability, and peace in life.
According to legend, during the Pandavas’ exile, Draupadi prayed to Lord Vishnu. The Lord explained the significance of the Anant Sutra and blessed that whoever ties it with devotion will be protected from sorrow and blessed with happiness. Men tie it on their right wrist, while women tie it on their left wrist.
Traditionally, this fast is observed for 14 consecutive years, signifying patience, faith, and discipline. Rituals include worshipping Vishnu, listening to the vrat katha, and performing charity.

गणेशोत्सव का प्रारंभ लोकमान्य बाल गंगाधर तिलक ने स्वतंत्रता आंदोलन के दौरान किया था। उन्होंने समाज को एकजुट करने के लिए गणेशोत्सव को सार्वजनिक पर्व बनाया। दस दिनों तक चलने वाला यह उत्सव भाद्रपद शुक्ल चतुर्थी से शुरू होकर अनंत चतुर्दशी तक चलता है।
यही कारण है कि अनंत चतुर्दशी का दिन गणेश भक्तों के लिए विशेष महत्व रखता है। इस दिन बड़े ही धूमधाम से गणपति बप्पा का विसर्जन किया जाता है और भक्तजन “गणपति बप्पा मोरया, अगले बरस तू जल्दी आ” के जयघोष करते हैं।
